Laser cutting

Tailored to your wishes

Thanks to our laser equipment developed in-house and the very wide variety of types of laser we can offer a range of services that covers every customer’s needs. You too can benefit from the expertise and the high-tech laser applications offered by createch ag in Langenthal.

Daily Business:
We machine thin films from 0.01 to 3 millimetres, cut very small components for the watchmaking industry and machine complex 3D geometries to very tight tolerances and very high process reliability.

The list of items we produce is enormously varied: The smallest component we regularly produce is 1:720,000 times smaller than the biggest. That means: If the smallest component were a double metre, the largest would stretch from Langenthal to Oslo.

But in the end, it’s not size that matters. What matters is that we rise to the challenges that our business partners present us with every day of the week.

For complex tasks we collaborate with our customers, sometimes taking several months, to work out solutions to questions for which no answers yet exist on the market. In this way we developed jigs and fixtures with which tubes could be machined in lengths up to 6000 millimetres or with which slits at a 45 degree angle oblique to the surface could be laser cut in flat components up to a size of 1600 x 1600 millimetres.

Field of application:
High-temperature materials such as Hastelloy, Nimonic, tungsten, molybdenum, all types of noble metals and non-ferrous metals are particularly suitable for laser cutting. Thanks to the availability of various types of lasers we are also in the position to cut and shape sapphire glass, mother-of-pearl, onyx, Ohara and ceramic materials to high precision.

The advantages to you:

  1. Films from 0.005 to sheets of approx. 4.00 mm thickness
  2. Tolerances of +/-0.002 mm
  3. Oblique cuts at 30° to the workpiece
  4. 2D and 3D cutting
  5. Surface qualities to Ra 0.4 µm (N5)
  6. Little or no heat input, and burr-free cutting
